Based in the UK’s surfing capital of Newquay, Wave Plugs are precision-made, custom ear plugs. As a result, they protect surfers, swimmers, and triathletes from surfer’s ear, ear infections, and irritation caused by cold water.
Furthermore, each pair is made using your own ear impressions and is carefully designed to keep sound clear, while at the same time blocking cold, water, and bacteria.

How to get plugs
Firstly, our ear plugs are made from a clinical grade soft silicone which ensures an optimum fit and lasting comfort. As a result all of our ear plugs require impressions to be taken. These are easily obtained from a local audiologist click here (to find one in your area and download the Process Guide below).
Alternatively, if you are in Cornwall we can offer this service for you with our sister company The Microsuction Clinics at a reduced cost. The Microsution Clinics are run by JJ, Lisa and Becky, both specialising in Surfer’s Ear.
