Ear Wax
It is essential that an accurate impression of your ear canal is taken.
For this reason, your ears will be examined first.
If, during this check, a build-up of wax is found, impressions may not be taken at that time.
However, this is common and easily resolved with microsuction.
To prepare, we recommend using clinical-grade olive oil from the chemist.
In practice, apply two drops in each ear.
Do this morning and evening.
Continue for three days before your appointment. If, despite this, the wax cannot be removed on the day, a follow-up appointment may be required.
By taking these steps, impressions are more likely to be accurate.
