Ear Wax

It is essential that an accurate impression of your ear canal is taken. Therefore, your ears will be examined first. If a wax build-up is found, impressions cannot be taken at that time. However, this can be easily resolved with microsuction.

To prepare, we recommend using clinical-grade olive oil from the chemist. Specifically, apply two drops in each ear, morning and evening, for three days before your appointment. If the wax cannot be removed on the day, a follow-up appointment may be needed. By following these steps, your ear impressions will be accurate and comfortable.
